Cool Kids Room Ideas

Who said that Kids rooms had to look like Walt Disney himself threw up all over the walls?  While I don’t think that parents should discourage the creative outlet of kids, I don’t believe that rooms have to be completely covered and “young” looking either.

Here are a few websites that I found that really have some great Kid’s room ideas:

• Southern Accents 2004 showhouse at WaterSound Beach, designed by Suzanne Kasler.  Summer camp meets modern kid.  This room would be great for that “in-be-tween.”

DIY Flower Arrangement

I know, I know.  Long time, no blog.  Go ahead and slap my wrist!

The good news is that I have found some pretty cool stuff while wasting hours upon hours on the Internet.  This little DIY beauty caught my eye just now.

This is a centerpiece that I found on a website while searching for instructions on how to tie a bow.  I think if my energy will keep up, I am going to try to make one of these myself for my Thanksgiving table decor.  It is super festive and it looks fairly easy!
