It seems Fall has crept up on us again! Now is the time to enjoy cooler weather, beautiful colors from the trees, and a good ole corn maze! Every year, fields across the country become winding trails of tall corn stalks.

Memphis Corn Maze at the Agricenter
This year there are several in the Memphis, TN area (where I am from.) The theme for this year is “Exploring the Wolf River.” You can find out more information about the Memphis Corn Maze at the Agricenter by going here.
Also, here is a link to The Maize a company who does these all over the United States and Cananda. You can look up your local corn field maze from their website. So, pack up the family and check it out!
Oh yea! One more thing! Closer to Halloween, the corn field maze becomes “haunted.” Contact your local maze for more information!

Due to the quick growth and reproduction of Bamboo, its popularity has skyrocketed in recent years. It is pretty common to see people boasting “bamboo floors” in their homes. However, there are many things Bamboo can be used for.

Decorative Tape by TapeSwell
Are giving beautifully wrapped gifts have the fun at Christmas or Birthdays? It is for me! This year for Christmas, I am thinking of wrapping all of the gifts in black and silver.
What could make a gift even more great looking? Cool tape, of course! These Modern decorative tape rolls by TapeSwell are just what the doctor ordered for the boring roll of Scotts!
A little on the pricy end at $7.50 a roll these cool designs could totally be used to jazz up that gift.
Alternatively, you can always do like my Great-Grandmother did. She wrapped all of her gifts in duct tape. Nothing like a big silver wrapped box to say “Merry Christmas and good luck opening it!”

If you are a creative person you probably have past many walls, train cars, and the like and fought back the urge to go crazy. There are some really talented artist that got their start painting on the side of boxcars. You can even view some of the better graffiti art on numerous websites – like this one.
However, if you are like me, a threat of prosecution for trespassing and defacing property was enough to keep me away from the spray paint.
There is hope for your inner rebel though! Check out this Graffiti Set. It gives you 160 pages worth of “blank urban wall” images for you to release your inner vandal. Go crazy – and don’t worry about getting caught. Unless you want to!

Oregon Scientific WR601 Weather Radio
While sitting at my desk just now, I noticed that we have another line of storms getting ready to roll through our area. While I typically love to sleep during a nice calming storm, this summer our area seems to be getting hit more and more with bad weather.
During the day when you can watch the weather, it is not so bad. Storms at night make my skin crawl. Thankfully, Jesse has a radio that was issued to him by the fire department that wakes us up if the storm is getting really bad. We can’t hear our local tornado sirens from inside our house. I slept right through them at the beginning of summer during a storm.
If you are like us and can sleep through a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant, don’t worry. There are some wonderful Weather Radios available through many outlets such as Radio Shack, Best Buy, and the like. Typically, you can find one to meet any budget.
The good thing about these radios is that they could wake the dead. Seriously. They sound like that really annoying alarm clock on Saturday mornings.
If it keeps you and your family safe though, it is well worth it. You can learn more about the radio in the picture by clicking here.

First of all, I LOVE the simplistic packaging of these over the counter medications from Help I Need Help. However, more important than the great packaging is the straight-forward approach to feeling better.
These days, straight answers are hard to come by when it comes to medication and health care. A quick walk down the headache aisle at Walgreens will make your migraine pound harder than ever. However, Help I Need Help keeps things simple … Just select the “Help – I Have a Headache” package, and you’re on your way to quick relief.
Why can’t everything be this simple?
You can buy them online directly from Help I Need Help.

I Am Not A Paper Cup
I often wonder as you look around office space within corporate America “Does the StarTrucks coffee really taste that good, or is the nifty Styrofoam cup part of the dress code?” I am not a huge coffee fan myself, so I don’t understand the draw.
What I do understand is that 1000’s upon 1000’s of those nifty disposable cups get thrown away every day to sit in a landfill somewhere. What is a hip (trying to be greener) homeowner to do?
Get a cup that matches, but that is re-usable of course!
Check out the I Am Not A Paper Cup! This cup retains heat and cool – just like its styrofoam counter part. And it is an accepted alternative of the corporate office dress code. Get your very own here.
