Lemongrass and Eucalyptus Candle from Target
As we quickly approach a change in the seasons, it occurred to me that all of my candles are currently carrying the “light, fruity scents” of summer. We all know the usual smells of the seasons like pumpkin for Thanksgiving, cinnamon for Christmas, etc.
I think there is room for some new “scents” to work their way into your home. I happen to LOVE the smell of Lemongrass. Surprisingly, there are a few companies that make lemongrass candles.
I happened to find this one at Target. I think I need to make my weekly Target run and pick a few up!

Nothing's more hip than 3D glasses!
Sonic Solutions announced today that they will soon be releasing technology that will allow hip homeowners everywhere to enjoy 3D movies from the comfort of their living room or home theater. The company states that it will accomplish this by leveraging its broad range of digital media applications, technologies and services, including its Roxio CinemaNow movie delivery service.
Given the recent comeback of 3D movies at the box office, it’s no wonder that technology companies are also looking for ways to deliver this same technology within the home.
The press release didn’t give any details regarding the expected price or release date for this new technology.

Wood Pet Crate
I am not saying that this pet crate from Rush Gideon is going to make Fido like his crate, but I am saying that it would look better in my den than the other ugly plastic crates.
This handcrafted crate/table is made for medium or small dogs. It measures 24″ L x 18″W x 26″ H. Perfect for the hip homeowner that completely despises the cheap “made in China” look that most dog carriers offer. I realize it is not portable, so you would need a backup crate that looks more appropriate in the garage than the den. Isn’t your pooch worth it?

There’s no question, a fireplace can really add to the ambiance of any room.
